Private enhanced examination.
Latest state-of-the-art examination equipment.
NHS sight tests available.
Our through eye examination checks many aspects of your eye health. We check for conditions that can affect your sight, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Blood pressure and diabetes are just two general health conditions that an eye examination can sometimes detect. We also test you for your glasses prescription, to give you the best comfortable vision.
Our enhanced private eye examination includes digital retinal OCT scanning and fundus photo, enabling a more in-depth look at the health of your eyes. A peripheral vision test is also included. Most importantly, we won't rush through your examination, which may take up to 45 minutes. If you qualify for an NHS sight test, any additional tests you wish to have or are recommended, such as the digital retinal OCT scanning can be paid for privately.
OCT retinal scanning
Recommended as part of your regular eye examination.
Provides a digital record of your eye health.
Allows closer monitoring of any conditions found.
We have 12 years of experience using OCT.
OCT retinal scanning provides a really detailed look at your eye health, allowing us to detect many eye conditions and some general health conditions earlier. When performed regularly, digital analysis of the scan allows your eye health to be monitored more closely. Should any changes be found, we can recommend the best course of action to take and when necessary, refer you quickly, to the most appropriate eye specialist.
Childrens eyecare
Children's eye tests are free under the NHS.
Child-friendly eye tests.
Great range of children's frames.
Most children have normal sight and many do not need glasses but common conditions such as blurred vision and squints, if not picked up at an early age, can develop into a lazy eye. We recommend that all children have an eye examination, at least once every year and it's free on the NHS. Your child is never too young to have an eye test.
